Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) closed in green zone on Wednesday, on continuous accumulating buying activity over leading stocks.
The benchmark price index gained 0.25% or 13.68 points to close at 5,413.39 points, while both of the weighted index and KSE15 went up by 0.83% and 1.22% respectively.
At the sectorial level, the telecommunication service was the best performer as it gained 1.27%, followed by the banking sector that added 0.66%.
The financial sector rose 0.6%, while the industrial sector rose 0.17%.
The market witnessed trading value of KWD 5.69 million down by 1.4% from KWD 5.77 million in the previous session. The trading volumes declined by 13% to 49.95 million shares from 57.42 million shares in the previous session.
