Kuwait-Mubasher: Indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) recorded its collective rise for the second day in a row, as the price index levelled up 0.5% or 26.14 points to close at 5,230.44 points on Thursday.
The weighted index grew by 0.97% or 3.5 points to settle at 361.04 points, and likewise, the KSX 15 index rose by 1.2% or 10 points to reach 852.87 points.
Today’s liquidity grew by 21.2% to KWD 16.77 million, as trading volume increased by 56.2% to 259.19 million shares.
KSE’s technology sector topped the gainers by 2.48%, as Osos grew 6%. Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector headed the decliners by falling 0.4%, dragged down by Al Safat Energy which lost 7.14%.
City Group was the top winner with a rise of 8.16%, while Marakez led the losers as it declined 7.43%.
Hits Telecom was the most active as 22.44 million shares were traded with a value of KWD 680,500. The stock rose by 6.9%.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 2.65 million, after 5.51 million shares were traded. The stock grew 2.11%.
