Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange’s (KSE) indices saw mixed performance during Thursday’s mid-session, shrugging off Wednesday’s gains.
The price index edged up 0.04% or 1.8 points to 5,407.9 points by 11:30am Kuwait time, while the weighted index and the Kuwait 15 index retreated 0.29% and 0.5%, respectively.
Turnover reached KWD 2.75 million after 28.37 million shares were traded through 755 transactions.
National Industries Group Holding led gainers, surging 9.6%, followed by Energy House with 6.25%, whereas Livestock Transport and Trading and Al Enmaa Real Estate topped fallers, losing 3.8% and 3.7%, respectively.
Gulf North Africa was the most active in terms of volume with 3.48 million shares traded; the stock retreated 3.03%, whereas Kuwait Finance House recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 564,950. The stock shed 1.06%.
