Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Monday on a mixed note.
The price index inched down 0.02% to 5,553.53, while the weighted index and Kuwait 15 saw a rise of 0.41% and 0.57% respectively.
Trading volume reached 30.46 million shares traded in 723 transactions at KWD 2.92 million by 9:40am Kuwait time.
Sector-wise, six major markets opened the session in the green territory led by the oil and gas (+0.35%) and banks (+0.26%).
On the flipside, the financial and telecom sectors slid by 0.19% each.
In terms of trading volume, Gulf Investment House was the most active with 5.81 million shares, while Zain registered the top performer in terms of value after registering KWDD 747,200 at open.
