Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Tuesday on a stronger note as its main index added 2.5 points, or 0.05%, to reach 5,344.02 points by 9:30am Kuwait time.
Likewise, The Kuwait 15 I and the weighted indices were higher 0.93% and 0.68%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 46.54 million shares exchanged in 932 transactions at KWD 10.14 million.
The telecom sector led the gainers with a 1.7% rise as Hits Telecom and Zain rose by 5.7% and 3.9%, correspondingly.
Further, the financial services edged up 0.3% on the upturn of Gulf North Africa by (+3.5).
On the flipside, the real estate sector was headed the loser, inching down 0.01% due to Investors Holding that fell 2.4% at open.
