Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse (KSE) initiated Sunday's trading session on a mixed note by 9:30am Kuwaiti time.
The price index edged up 0.03% to 5,473.45 points.
The Kuwait 15 index rose 0.22%, while the Weighted index was 0.06% lower.
Trading volume reached 4.7 million shares traded through 134 transactions at a turnover of KWD 347,470.
Sector-wise, telecommunications led gainers with a 0.6% rise as Ooreodo's stock added 2%.
Coming in second place, the banking sector increased 0.2% on Ithmaar Bank that was 2.7% higher at open.
On the flipside, the consumer services and financial services sectors shed 0.13% and 0.1%, respectively.
GFH Financial Group was the most active stocks in terms of volume and value with 2.3 million shares changing hands at KWD 168,900.
