Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started the mid-week trading session on a mixed note.
The price index gained 9.26 points or 0.17% to the mark of 5,555.43 points.
Meanwhile, the weighted index and Kuwait 15 declined 0.19% and 0.39%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 26.6 million shares traded in 503 transaction at KWD 2.31 million by 9:25am Kuwait local time.
Sector-wise, five main markets came in the green zone, led by the consumer goods (+0.53%) and the financial services (+0.49%).
On the flipside, three markets saw a slide, headed by the banking sector that fell 0.33% on Kuwait Finance House (-2%).
Kuwait Finance House was the most active stock in terms of value registering KWD 588,100 for 1.15 million shares.
Al Mudon recorded the highest trading volume of 3.1 million shares traded at KWD 109,100 at open, while the stock was 4.35% higher.
