Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) showed a bearish performance this week, as the price index fell by 0.71% or 41 points to end at 5,725.41 points, compared with 5,766.37 points last week.
The weighted index sagged 1.68% or 6.7 points to end the week at 390.84 points, down from 397.5 points. KSX-15 index fell by 2.16% to 933.99 points, from 954.64 points.
The weekly traded volume amounted to 663.04 million shares, down 8.9% from 727.84 million shares exchanged last week.
The market liquidity decreased by 15.2% to KWD 68.87 million ($226.12 million), from KWD 81.22 million ($266.85 million). The number of executed transactions retreated by 4.1% to 16,420 from 17,130.
The market capitalisation lost around KWD 450 million ($1.84 billion) to KWD 26.76 billion, from KWD 27.21 billion.
Year-to-date, capitalisation fell by 9.93% from KWD 29.71 billion at the end of 2014.
