KSE indices start Wednesday in red zone

Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Wednesday’s session falling 0.39% or 21.93 points to reach 5,485.12 points by 9:40am Kuwait time.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.49% and 0.54% respectively.

KSE’s liquidity reached KWD 1.2 million after 8.8 million shares were traded through 264 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the decliners by 1%, in line with the fall of Tamdeen Real Estate by 9%.

Bayan was the most active stock on which 1.4 million shares were traded at a value of about KWD 47,800.

Agility recorded the highest turnover that reached about KWD 241,400 after nearly 497,700 shares were exchanged.
