Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged up 0.08% or 4.5 points to close at 5,410.6 points on Thursday, posting its fourth rising session in a row.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.2% and 0.59% respectively.
Today’s liquidity shrank by 10.4% to KWD 6.78 million, as trading volume decreased by 11.5% to 68.2 million shares.
The technology sectors headed six gainers by 2%, while the oil and gas sector led four decliners by 2.5%.
Dar Al Thuraya Real Estate was the top winner by a 14.5% growth, while Kuwait Cable Vision headed the losers by 9.1%.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 6.83 million shares were traded.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity which stood at nearly KWD 744,000.
