KSE nudge lower as leading stocks weigh down

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange ended Wednesday’s trading session with a marginal drop of 0.03% or 1.68 points to 5,698.10 points.

The weighted index declined by 0.53% to 387.92 points, while Kuwait-15 index inched down 0.8%.

Today’s liquidity stood at KWD 10.6 million, after 138.18 million shares were traded through around 3,000 transactions.

NBK stock fell by 1.2% to 820 fils, recording the highest turnover.

KFH levelled down by 1.72% to settle at 570 fils.

Moreover, Zain retreated 1.37% to 360 fils, while Mezzan Holding dropped 1.85% to reach KWD 1.060.

Palms Agro Production was the top winner by adding 9.62% to 114 fils, while Kuwait Cable Vision headed the losers with a 9% fall to 25 fils.
