Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Sunday on a collective rise.
The price index added 0.11% to the mark of 6,831.85 points.
Likewise, the weighted index and Kuwait 15 rose by 0.24% and 0.35%, respectively.
By 10:10am Kuwait time, trading volume reached 210.24 million shares traded via 3,952 transactions at KWD 18.15 million.
The telecom sector led gainers with a 1.4% increase, backed by Hits Telecom which advanced 3.4%.
The oil and gas sector also went up 0.98% supported by Senergy which hiked 3.45%.
The banks registered a 0.6% increase as Kuwait International Bank moved up 4.2%.
On the flipside, the insurance sector saw a slide of 1.15% as First Takaful declined 6.8%.
