Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Tuesday's trades on a positive note.
The price index added 22.7 points, or 0.34%, to stand at the mark of 6,679.55 points.
The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose 0.02% and 0.04%, respectively.
Trading volume reached 187.1 million shares, changed hands in 3,275 transactions at KWD 16.3 million by 9:49am Kuwaiti time.
The real estate and financial services increased 0.58% and 0.49%, respectively.
On the other hands, the telecom sector decreased 0.70% weighted by to Zain which fell 2.13%.
Ithmar Holding was the most active stock in terms of traded volume and values after 39.18 million shares were traded at KWD 2.35 million.
