Kuwait - Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Tuesday on a mixed note, as the price index gained 0.06% or 3.49 points, reaching the level of 5495.74 points, while the weighted index and Kuwait15 lost 0.01% and 0.21% respectively.
Trading volume reached 11.5 million shares by 9:45am Kuwait time, through 343 transactions and at a total turnover of KWD 1.2 million.
Meanwhile, 7 sectors rose with basic materials in the lead with 0.86%, followed by real estate with 0.38% on the back of the top gainer Al Arabiya which added 4.9%.
Gulf Petroleum was the most active in terms of trading volume with 1.6 million shares, while Zain registered the highest turnover with nearly KWD 233,600.
