Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Monday’s session inching up 0.02% or 1.23 points to reach 5,349.25 points by 11 am Kuwait time. Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.24% and 0.33% respectively.
KSE’s liquidity reached more than KWD 3 million, as trading volume stood at 28.9 million shares that were traded through 668 transactions.
The telecom sector topped nine gainers by 1%, while the industrial sector was the only decliner by 0.47%.
Ekttitab Holding was the top winner by 7.35%, while Mushrif led the losers by 7.35%.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 3.5 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 129,900. The stock rose to 37.5 fils.
Zain stock recorded the highest liquidity that exceeded about KWD 682,600 after 2 million shares were traded. The stock retreated to 340 fils.
