Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) inched up 0.29% or 16.2 points to settle at 5,632.39 points on Wednesday morning.
By 10:15 am Kuwait local time, the weighted index gained 0.09% or 0.36 points to reach 381.94 points. Also, Kuwait-15 index went up 0.04% or 0.36 points to approach 903.61 points.
Trading value amounted to KWD 6.42 million, as 42 million shares were traded through 1,105 transactions.
Wednesday’s tradeswere speculative but stayed in the green zone, as resistance lies at 5,619 and 5,638 points, said technical analyst Faisal Boushahri.
Yiaco Medical topped the winners by adding 6.5%, while Kuwait Finance and Investment led the losers as it settled 6.3% down.
Al-Madina was the most active stock as 5.9 million shares were traded through 76 deals, with a value of about 214,700. The stock rose by 2.8%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover of KWD 2.4 million, after 43 transactions were carried out on 2.95 million shares. The stock settled at 810 fils.
