KSE opens in red zone

Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged down by 0.10% to 5,389.39 points by 9:40 Kuwait time on Monday.

The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.22% and 0.20% respectively.

KSE’s banks sector led the decliners by 0.4% dragged by KIB which lost 1.08%, followed by the real estate sector that edged down by 0.01% as Investors lost 2.08%.

Meanwhile, the telecom sector topped the gainers by 0.7%, backed by Hits Telecom which rose by 1.23%.

The market’s trading value reached KWD 2.18 million, as 46.12 million shares were traded through 793 transactions.
