Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Monday's trading session on a mixed note by 9:35am Kuwaiti time.
The price index edged down 0.02% to 5,466.91 points.
Meanwhile, the weighted index and KSX15 rose 0.4% and 0.5%, respectively.
Trading value reached 6.43 million shares traded in 235 transactions at KWD 1.23 million.
Sector-wise, the consumer goods led the advancers with a rise of 0.4% as Livestock Transport and Trading opened the session 2.5% higher.
On the flipside, the real estate sector headed the losers with a slide of 0.5%, weakened by the downturn of a number of stocks, most significantly including Arkan that fell by 6.3%.
KGL logistic was the most active stocks in terms of volume, after 1.72 million shares worth KWD 125,100 were traded in 27 deals.
In terms of value, NBK was the most active stock with a turnover of KWD 654,400 raised from 1.09 million shares changing hands.
