Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) indices ended Tuesday’s session on a stronger note collectively, as sectors rose.
The Price Index increased 0.5% or 25.71 points to 5,132.68, recording the highest level since mid-January.
The Weighted Index also edged up 0.57% to 353.69 points, gaining 1.99 points today.
KSX 15 closed in green as it went 0.62% or 5.11 points higher to 832.71 points.
Trading volume was trimmed 27.6%to reach 123.66 million shares against 170.76 million yesterday. Meanwhile, trading value increased by 7.1% to KWD13.02 million, compared to KWD12.16 million.
All sectors ended the session in the green territory, headed by telecommunication which grew 1.63%.
Kuwait Cable Vision headed 58 advancers by adding 9.26%, while Amar for Finance and Leasing topped a list of 31 decliners after losing 8.5%.
The most active share volume was Investors Holding Group with14.77 million traded shares worth KWD 298,300, while Zain made the biggest turnover with KWD 3.5 million worth of 8.34 million traded shares.
