Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended today’s session rising by 0.19% or 10.44 points to the level of 5,517.75 points.
The weighted index also leapt by 0.04%, while the Kuwait-15 index declined 0.23%.
The financial services sector, up 0.33%, was the best performer as International Financial Advisors and GFH Group increased by 6.9% and 6.7% respectively.
The oil and gas sector leapt 0.26%, backed by a 5.5% growth in Senergy Holding.
On the other hand, the banks sector fell 0.6% due to a 1.6% decline in Burgan Bank.
The real estate sector shrank 0.38%, dragged by a decline of 4.9% in Abyaar Real Estate Development and 3.1% in Sokouk Holding.
Abyaar made the biggest trading volume activity of 13.28 million shares, while Agility Public Warehousing made the highest turnover of KWD 1.63 million.
