Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) is forecasted to extend its positive performance during this week, amid expected entry of new traders and portfolios as the profits and dividends season approaches, analysts told Mubasher.

Technical analyst, Aaed Al Dhafiri, said that the KSE gradually began to recover, expecting the annual results of the listed banks to drive the bourse to more gains.

Capital market analyst, Abdullah Al-Zamel, said that the KSE’s main index recorded a 20% rise from its lowest level in January 2016, reflecting a recovery cycle that may extend to the end of annual disclosures.

Al Zamel expected the index to test the level of 6,000 points and to reach 6,100 points on the short term.
