Kuwait - Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a positive performance this week, as the price index gained 1.44% or 76.4 points and closed at the level of 5,397.85 points, compared to 5,321.46 points last week.
Similarly, the weight index added 3.39% or 36.13 points, and Kuwait15 went up by 4.5% or 36.13 points.
The weekly traded volume increased by 55.5% to 613.05 million shares from 394.25 million shares in the previous week, with Tuesday’s session witnessing the highest volumes this week with a total of 178 million traded shares.
Total turnover also grew by 59.9% to KWD 97.77 million compared to KWD 61.15 million last week. The highest traded value was registered on Wednesday with a turnover of KWD 33.9 million.
As for transactions, a total of 15,710 transactions were held this week compared to 10.940 in last week, with an increase of 43.6%.
