Kuwait – Mubasher: The financial services sector acquired 57% of the overall trading volume of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) by 11:25am Kuwait time on Wednesday.
The sector’s volume stood at 13.55 million shares, while about 23.76 million shares were traded on the overall market by that time.
The sector’s liquidity was the highest by reaching nearly KWD 631,850 which formed 31% of the overall KWD 2.04 million turnover.
Meanwhile, the financial sector index was the top decliner with 0.63% in line with the fall of 13 shares.
Tamdeen, Arabi, and KMEFIC were the top decliners in the sector with a drop of 6.45%, 4.9%, and 4.2% respectively.
