KSE’s indices close in green zone

Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Kuwaiti bourse leveled up 0.3% or 16 points to close at 5,316.47 points on Sunday.

The weighted index grew 0.32% or 1.12 points to reach 366.22 points. Similarly, Kuwait-15 rose by 0.38% or 3.24 points to 366.38 points.

Today’s liquidity declined by 32.7% to KWD 12.37 million, as trading volume decreased 27.8% to 168.19 million shares.

The insurance sector topped the gainers by a rise of 1.54%, as Kuwait Insurance which topped the winners gained 8.77%.

The consumer services headed the decliners by a fall of 0.81% as Alrai retreated by 5.56%.

Meanwhile, Marakez led the losers by a 9.6% or 2.5 fils drop to 23.5 fils.

AL Dar National was the most active stock on which 32.14 million shares with a value worth nearly 513,800. The stock fell by 8.82%.

KFH recorded the highest turnover that exceeded KWD 2.4 million, as 5.03 million shares were exchanged. The stock settled at 490 fils.
