Kuwait-Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) gave up their early-session gains to end in the red zone on Sunday.
The price index inched down by 0.01% or 0.51 points to close at 5,131.05 points. The weighted index dropped 0.42% or 1.46 points to settle at 348.90 points. Also, KSX 15 fell by 0.66% or 5.43 points to approach 821.74 points.
Investors are showing a common tendency to liquidate shares, while a growing activity was noticed on the shares of the companies that announced payment of cash dividends, said capital market analyst Ibrahim Al-Filkawy.
He added that the main index will have support level at 5,000 points which will lead to 4,800 points, if broken below.
Today’s liquidity declined by 10.6% to KWD 7.11 million, as trading volume increased 26.39% to reach 102.11 million shares.
The technology sector topped the gainers by adding 2.77%, while the telecom led the decliners with a decrease of 0.93%.
Al Aman Invetsment was the top winner by a growth of 9.80%, while Taameer Real Estate Investment led the losers as it ended down 6.82%.
