Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Kuwait Stock Kuwait (KSE) retreated by 0.14% or 7.7 points to close at 5,508.38 points on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.08% and 0.21% respectively.
Liquidity increased by 44.2% to KWD 6.06 million, as trading volume grew by 29.8% to 112.68 million shares.
The financial services sector led six decliners by 0.88%, dragged by Arabi group.
The basic materials sector topped four gainers by 1.06%, backed by Boubyan Petrochemical and Qurain which rose by 2.04% and 2% respectively.
KFH recorded the highest liquidity at a value of about KWD 916,000 after 2 million share were traded through 60 transactions. The stock levelled up 1.09%.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active stock on which 17.85 million shares were exchanged through 256 transactions at a value of around KWD 654,700. The stock rose by 37 fils.
