Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Monday’s session in the green zone after the price index levelled up 0.19% or 10.25 points to close at 5,401.07 points.
Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.08% and 0.04% respectively.
KSE’s turnover soared 50.7% to KWD 14.41 million, and the trading volume increased 87% to 114.06 million shares.
The industrial sector topped six gainers with 0.67% on the back of Logistics which went up 5.33%.
Meanwhile, the basic materials sector led four decliners with 0.8% on the back of Boubyan Petrochemical which lost 3.2%.
Sokouk was the most active stock on which 12.64 million shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 416,400. The stock levelled up 4.8% to 33 fils.
Zain recorded the highest trading value that stood at KWD 4.51 million after 11.4 million shares were exchanged. The stock reached 390 fils.
