Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) fell 0.17% to 5,311.43 points. Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.3% each.
The banks sector led the decliners with 0.59%, in line with the drop of NBK which lost 1.7%.
The telecom sector retreated 0.59% as Ooredoo dropped 3.5%. Similarly, the real estate sector levelled down 0.32% in line with the 3.6% fall of Alargan.
KSE’s liquidity decreased to KWD 7.1 million as compared to KWD 18.16 million on Thursday, as 33.59 million shares were traded compared with 113.3 million in the previous session.
Nafais was the most active stock on which 4.04 million shares were exchanged, while Americana recorded the highest turnover that stood at KWD 2.35 million.
