Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Thursday’s trading session down 0.35% or 18.54 points to reach 5,328 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices fell 0.11% and 0.14% respectively.
The telecom sector led seven decliners with 1.5%, in line with the 2.82% fall of Hits Telecom. The real estate sector also levelled down 0.10%, dragged by Investors which lost 4.8%.
Meanwhile, the banks and consumer services sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 0.15% and 0.52% respectively.
Boubyan Bank stock rose 1.3%, in line with the announcement of the third quarter’s financial statements.
Liquidity increased 37.1% to KWD 4.03 million, while trading volume shrank 7.8% to 33.61 million shares.
Al-Aqaria was the top winner with a gain of 7.32%, while Yiaco Medical led the losers with 9.2%.
Americana posted the highest trading value of nearly KWD 869,800. Investors was the most active stock on which 7.6 million shares were exchanged.
