Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the benchmark index inched down 0.04% or 2.34 points to close at 5,515.41 points.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.20% and 0.56% respectively.
KSE’s turnover amounted to KWD 12.25 million after 134.2 million shares were traded.
The banks sector topped five gainers with 0.78% on the back of Ithmaar which rose by 4%.
Meanwhile, the financial services segment led six decliners with 0.33%, dragged by a fall of 15 shares headed by GFH which lost 6.25%.
The industrial sector retreated by 0.04%, affected by Metal and Recycling which plunged by 21.21% to be the top loser.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active stock on which 16.02 million shares were exchanged.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 2.36 million.
