Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone.
The price index gained 0.09% or 4.77 points to close at 5,539.76 points, and both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up by 0.10% and 0.31% respectively.
The real estate sector topped seven gainers with a rise of 0.41% on the back of Awj which rose by 7.14%.
The banks sector inched up 0.05%, endorsed by AUB which gained 1.67%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led five gainers with 0.98%, dragged by Ooredoo and Hits Telecom which rose by 3.5% and 2.3% respectively.
GFH dropped 6.6% to top the losers, affecting the financial services segment which retreated by 0.3%.
KSE’s turnover reached KWD 11.4 million, as trading volume increased to 89.63 million shares.
Agility recorded the highest trading value that stood at KWD 3.26 million. The stock gained 7.7%.
NREC was the most active stock on which 10.5 million shares were traded. The stock levelled up 4.7%.
