KSE’s indices hit green early

Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled up 0.07% or 3.7 points to settle at 5,269.5 points at 9:45 am Kuwait time on Wednesday.

The weighted index grew 0.75% or 2.7 points to reach 360.41 points. Similarly, KSX 15 index gained 1.38% or 11.5 points to 848.43 points.

The Kuwaiti bourse’s benchmark index is facing resistance at 5,266 points, a level that if broken above could take the index to 5,290 and 5,300 points respectively, technical capital market analyst Nawaf Al-Oun said.

KSE’s liquidity approached KWD 13.3 million, as 82 million shares were exchanged through 1,540 transactions.

KGL Logistics topped the winners by a 5.71% rise, while Kuwait Insurance led the losers by a drop of 7.46%.

KFH was the most active as 13.03 million shares were traded with a value of KWD 6.85 million. The stock gained 3.92%.
