Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) levelled up 0.28% or 14.73 points to close at 5,268.45 points on Thursday. Similarly, the weighted index gained 0.1% or 0.35 points to reach 358.97 points.
Meanwhile, KSX 15 index fell by 0.09% or 0.74 points to approach 840.79 points.
Today’s turnover gained 8.5% to KWD 13.43 million as trading volume increased by 21.6% to 161.03 million shares.
Technology, the day’s sectoral outperformer, advanced 2.4%, backed by Osos which rose by 5.56%. Meanwhile, telecom was the steepest faller with a 2% decline, dragged down by Zain which lost 6.58%.
Marakez topped the winners by a 10.2% growth, while Warba Insurance headed the losers by a 12.07% decrease.
Ithmaar Bank was the heaviest-traded stock as 27.02 million shares were exchanged at about KWD 910,900. The stock fell by 2.86%.
Agility recorded the highest liquidity, with KWD 2.16 million, after 4.36 million shares were traded. The stock gained 4.17%.
