Kuwait-Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Wednesday’s session in the green zone, as the benchmark edged up by 0.06% or 3.22 points to 5,204.85 points at 9:45 am Kuwait time.
The weighted index grew by 0.64% or 2.29 points to approach 358.71 points, and the KSX 15 index rose by 0.97% or 8 points to reach 848.15 points.
The support level of KSE’s price index remains at 5,201 points, technical analyst Faisal Boushahri said.
KSE’s trading value stood at KWD 5.91 million, as 48.2 million shares were traded through 952 deals.
First Dubai secured the top position among winners by a 5.88% rise, while Al Deera led the losers by 7.69% decline.
Ithmaar Bank was the most active as 8.77 million shares were exchanged, with a value of about KWD 345,400. The stock rose by 1.28%.
NBK recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 1.37 million, after 2.1 million shares were traded. The stock settled at 650 fils.
