Kuwait-Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Thursday’s session with a rise of 0.15% or 8.11 points to settle at 5,314.3 points at 10 am Kuwait time.
The weighted index gained 0.43% or 1.6 points to reach 366.04 points. The KSX 15 levelled up 0.64% or 5.5 points to approach 867.4 points.
A reasonable volatile trend is controlling KSE, with the price index targeting 5,353 and 5,343 points respectively, said technical analyst Faisal Boushhri.
KSE’s liquidity totalled KWD 9.8 million, as 119 million shares were exchanged through 2,235 transactions.
KMEFIC gained the most with growth of 7.84%, while Ikarus suffered the heaviest losses as it dropped 7.35drop.
Zima Holding was the most active as 12.7 million shares were traded with a value of around KWD 603,500. The stock fell by 1.05%.
NBK recorded the highest turnover that stood at KWD 1.07 million, after 1.6 million shares were traded. The stock settled at 670 fils.
