Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) opened Tuesday on a positive note, amid a collective rise by its indices.
The price index rose 0.18% or 9.79 points to the level of 5,324.29 points, the weighted index grew 0.26% or 0.92 point to 355.59 points and the Kuwait-15 index advanced 0.43%.
Trading volume reached 52.1 million shares exchanged through 654 transactions, making a turnover of KWD 2.94 million.
The telecom was the best performing sector as it rose 1.04%, while basic materials was the worst with a drop of 0.49%.
Flex Resorts and Real Estate topped gainers by adding 6.1%, whereas Alargan International Real Estate led decliners with a 6.25% decrease.
Hits Telecom Holding made the highest trading activity as 30.5 million shares were exchanged at KWD 1.13 million.
