Kuwait – Mubasher: The performance of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw negative performance during the week ended 6 October.
The price index retreated 1.45% or 78.2 points to reach 5,320.22 points this week as compared to 5,398.39 points in the previous week.
KSE’s weighted index dropped 1.02% or 3.6 points, while Kuwait-15 index edged down 0.5% or 4 points.
During the four-session week, turnover increase 14% to KWD 48.11 million this week as compared to KWD 42.22 million a week ago.
Trading volume decreased 12.5% to 313.86 million shares from 358.58 million in the past week.
Transactions shrank 25.2% to around 7,900 as compared with nearly 10,560.
