KSE’s indices reach red zone

Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged down 0.04% or 2.31 points to reach 5,409.38 points by 11 am Kuwait time on Monday.

Similarly, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.17% and 0.30% respectively.

KSE’s liquidity reached nearly KWD 612,200 as 9.3 million shares were traded through 185 transactions.

Both the oil and gas sector as well as the technology sector were the only gainers by a rise of 0.27% and 0.12% respectively.

The consumer services sector led seven decliners by 0.21%.

Al Salam was the most active stock on which 6.2 million shares were exchanged at a value of around KWD 248,500. The stock levelled up 2.56%.
