Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) went up 0.10% or 5.7 points to close at 5,448.86 points on Tuesday.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.37% and 0.65% respectively.
KSE’s turnover shrank 24.9% to KWD 6.09 million, while the trading volume increased 33% to 55.9 million shares.
The health care sector topped eight gainers by 0.9% on the back of Safwan stock which rose 3.95%.
Meanwhile, the telecom and consumer services sectors led the decliners by 1.27% and 0.14% respectively.
Almal Investment topped the winners by a 12.2% growth to 23 fils, after 10.84 million shares were traded at a vlue of about KWD 243,440.
Boubyan Bank recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 1.7 million as 4.6 million shares were exchanged. The stock closed at 380 fils.
