KSE’s indices rise collectively in early trading

Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange’s (KSE) indices opened Monday in green, as the Price Index rose 0.25% or 14.3 points to the level of 5,585.99 points in early trading.

The weighted index also leapt 0.17% or about 0.64 point to 381.1 points, and the KSX 15 Index increased 0.18% or 1.6 point to 903.64 points.   

Trading volume reached about 24.6 shares which were exchanged in 670 deals worth KWD 2.3 million.

Eyas for Higher and Technical Education was the best performer in early trading with a growth of about 8.06%, while Gulf Franchising Holding was the weakest share with a fall of 7.14%.

Al Madina for Finance and Investment recorded the largest volume with around 6.32 million shares traded through 74 transactions valued at KWD 216,400.  

Meanwhile, National Bank of Kuwait had the highest trading value with about KWD 433,200 which was spent through 13 trades on about 534,800 shares.
