Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged down 0.07% or 3.86 points to end Sunday’s session at 5,392.81.
The weighted index lost 0.22% or 0.78 points to close at 356.89 points, while Kuwait-15 index levelled down 0.16% or 1.35 points to reach 830.15 points.
Today’s liquidity declined 35.9% to KWD 10 million as compared to KWD 15.6 million in the previous session, while the trading volume decreased by 36.2% to 156.7 million shares from 245.7 million shares.
KSE’s both technology and industrial sectors topped the gainers by 1.3% and 1.2% respectively, while the financial services and insurance sectors headed the decliners by 1.6% and 1.2% respectively.
Kuwait National Cinema advanced the winners by an 8.3% growth, while National Investments led the losers by 8.9%.
Hits Telecom was the most active stock on which 33.4 million shares were exchanged through 365 deals, with a value of KWD 1.4 million.
