Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse saw positive performance during September, as the price index went up 1.3% or 4.53 points, the weighted index gained 1.53%, and Kuwait-15 index rose 1.32%.
During the month, turnover shrank 36.5% to KWD 96.36 million as compared to KWD 151.68 million in August.
Kuwait Stock Exchange’s (KSE) trading volume decreased 36.9% to 902.03 million shares in September compared with 1.43 billion shares in the previous month.
Similarly, transactions levelled down 25.4% to nearly 29,290 as compared to around 40,090 in August.
In September, the market cap gained about KWD 316 million.
