Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) posted a mixed performance during the week ended 20 October.
KSE’s price index fell 0.12% or 6.5 points to reach 5,321.46 points as compared to 5,328 points in the previous week.
The weighted index went down 0.15% or 0.52 points, while Kuwait-15 index rose 0.15% or 1.2 points.
During this week, trading volume jumped 115.1% to reach 394.25 million shares as compared to 183.26 million a week ago.
Turnover soared 127% week-on-week to stand at KWD 61.15 million this week as compared to KWD 26.95 million in the past week.
Transactions stood at about 10,940 in one week, up 82.3% from 6,000 deals in the prior week.
