Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged down 0.06% or 3.36 points to reach 5,308.07 points by 9:15am Kuwait time on Monday.
The weighted index retreated 0.02%, while Kuwait-15 index gained 0.04%.
KSE’s turnover reached KWD 120,000 after 1.8 million shares were exchanged through 95 transactions.
The insurance sector led the decliners with a fall of 0.51%, while the basic materials sector topped the gainers with 0.3%.
Sultan Center Food was the top loser with a drop of 7.02%, while Acico Industries advanced the gainers with a rise of 3.6%.
Al Mal was the most active stock on which 403,000 shares were traded at a value of nearly KWD 9,300. The stock levelled down 2.13%.
Gulf Cable recorded the highest liquidity that reached nearly KWD 17,000 after around 46,300 shares were traded. The stock lost 1.35%.
