Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Monday’s trading session with mixed performance.
The price index edged down by 0.01% or 0.31 points to reach 5,650.69 points at 9:40am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.03% and 0.02% respectively.
KSE’s trading value amounted to KWD 4.9 million, after 25.81 million shares were traded through 620 transactions.
The oil and gas sector topped the gainers with a rise of 0.56%, while the real estate segment led the decliners with 0.3%.
Contracting and Marine Services was the top winner with a growth of 7.04%, while Marakez led the losers with a fall of 8.2%.
NBK was the most active stock on which 4.62 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 3 million. The stock reached 650 fils.
