Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Wednesday’s session with a mixed performance.
The price index went up 0.09% to reach 5,520.37 points by 9:40am Kuwait time, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.20% and 0.35% respectively.
The telecom sector topped the gainers with 0.6% in line with the 3.45% rise of Hits Telecom.
KSE’s trading value amounted to KWD 3.66 million after 32.95 million shares were traded through 782 transactions.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector retreated by 0.42%, dragged by Senergy which fell by 2.8%. The banks segment dropped 0.25%, as NBK lost 1.5%.
