Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) saw a positive performance during the week ended 17 November.
The price index gained 0.57% or 31.32 points to reach 5,511.74 points this week from 5,480.42 points.
The weighted index levelled up 1.89% or 6.85 points, and Kuwait-15 index rose by 2% or almost 17 points.
Over this week, turnover retreated by 19.7% to KWD 80.71 million, after trading volume shrank by 18.9% to 718.93 million shares that were traded through nearly 17,600 transactions; 14.5% lower from last week.
Market cap increased by 1.9% or KWD 470 million ($1.54 million) to reach KWD 25.57 billion ($83.9 billion) this week from KWD 25.1 billion ($82.35 billion) in the prior week.
