Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) rose in Tuesday's early trading by 0.13% or 6.87 points to the level of 5,355.01 points.
Meanwhile, the weighted and the Kuwait-15 indices declined by 0.07% and 0.05% respectively.
Trading volume reached 35.2 million shares exchanged through executing 875 transactions, making a turnover of KWD 6.25 million.
The real estate sector rose 0.57% as Marakez topped gainers with a growth of 9.09%.
The telecom sector, however, fell 0.78%, pressured by a 1.43% decrease in Zain.
Kuwait Slaughter House was the worst performing stock after falling 5.06% to 150 fils.
National Bank of Kuwait made the highest trading activity with a volume of 5.57 million shares and a turnover of KWD 3.72 million.
The three indices closed yesterday with a collective fall, as the price, weighted and Kuwait-15 shrank 0.51%, 0.24% and 0.27% respectively.
