Kuwait-Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) maintained its losses in Monday’s early trades.
The price index fell 0.06% or 3.05 points to reach 5,426.36 points. Likewise, the weighted index declined 0.29%, while the Kuwait-15 index slid 0.63%.
The market saw trading of 5.4 million shares through 200 transactions, with a turnover of KWD 436,210.
The consumer services sector topped losers with a 0.6% decline, weighed down by Jazeera Airways which fell 2.41%.
The consumer goods sector was the best performer after rising 0.53%, spurred by Palms Agro Production (PAPCO) which added 5.26%.
Bayan Investment led losers after declining 3.08% to 31.5 fils, generating KWD 1,310 from the exchange of 41,000 shares.
National Investments Co. was the most active stock after generating KWD 927,600 from the exchange of 105,400 shares. The stock slid 1.72% to 114 fils.
