Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti bourse saw a negative performance during the week ended 4 August amid the grouped fall of indices.
The market’s price index edged down 0.03% or 1.5 points to reach 5,459.26 points this week as compared to 5,460.73 points in the previous week.
KSE’s weighted index retreated by 0.65%, while Kwuait-15 index lost 0.8% over the week.
Trading value narrowed by 15.2% to KWD 30.67 million versus KWD 36.18 million in the past week, while trading volume decreased by 41.7% to 274.74 million shares as compared with 471.43 million shares a week ago.
Market cap lost 0.65% or KWD 159 million ($527 million) over this week to reach KWD 24.186 billion ($80.17 billion) as compared to KWD 24.345 billion ($80.69 billion) in the previous week.
